Every destination has many reasons to make you want to revisit again!
Vietnam & Cambodia: The people and culture of both Vietnam and Cambodia have left a lasting impression with me. I was fortunate to do this as part of an incredible Mekong River Cruise with Aqua Expeditions. I know they say to not eat off a Street Cart, but the food was cheap and so tasty. Seeing the unfortunate slum areas was a highlight as the people do not know any different, they still smile, the kids are just beautiful and seeing their faces light up when we visited them makes you realise that we live such a materialistic lifestyle.
The Kimberleys: My PONANT cruise to this destination was beyond my expectations. Each day we anchored and were able to do Zodiac expeditions for an hour or two in the morning and afternoon. When sailing in the Kimberleys, it does not matter what side of the ship you are sailing as the scenery on both sides of the ship is spectacular. I was fortunate to have 10 nights of unforgettable sunrises, sunsets, crocodiles, turtles, learning more about the untouched region, Indigenous people and their culture, King George Falls and Lacepede Islands, plus so much more.
Italy: Italy has my heart as I just love the people, the food, so much history and walkable cities no matter where you go. Italy is perfect for those who like an adventure. An easy country to get round, good starting or finishing point for most cruiselines or a tour.
