I started a career in travel straight after University, first doing inbound travel and then academic and educational tours in the Philippines. From there I moved to New Zealand where I planned wholesale, corporate and retail travel before finally moving to Sydney where I followed my dream career path in retail travel consulting.
I love travelling, and even more, seeing and hearing people share their travel experiences. To date, I have travelled to 96 countries and consider Turkey as my all-time favourite destination. Turkey has a whole host of attractions that I have not seen anywhere else, such as the Pamukkale, Cappadocia, Antalya, Hagia Sophia Museum and many more. I love creating complex itineraries as I consider them to be a learning experience. Asia, America and Europe (including Rail Europe) are destinations that I would be keen to assist travellers to make it extra memorable. Be it exploring the Temples in Angkor, cruising onboard the Aqua Expedition Cruise on the Mekong (my all-time favourite cruise as the staff are efficient and the food onboard is superb), taking scenic photographs at the Grand Canyon or sipping a glass of champagne overlooking Lake Bled in Slovenia --- the options are just enormous.
My important tip on travel is always plan in advance to ensure you get great deals and availability, prepare different options in case it rains in one city, a good day and evening tour orientation is also important, and most of all research the places that you will be visiting. You’ll be amazed at the spectacular gems you can find in each destination. But above all, travel like a local!
